My husband has been a busy bee lately! Several weeks ago he started working with a number of people to help them find their calling. While he did that, it was a few hours alone at home to get some chores done for me; but, for those he was counseling, it was a much more exciting time. “What did you want to be when you were a little boy/girl? Now, what was the first thing you thought of?” These are two of Eric's favorite questions to ask when he encounters people who are trying to determine their passion or calling in life. So many people go through life believing they are less worthy of accomplishing their dreams than others – and I know firsthand, because that has been me. Upon meeting new people, I automatically assumed they were smarter, more likeable, and, in general, better than me. While I'm not one hundred percent sure of the roots of these beliefs, I do know they have been debilitating to me. For that reason, among many, I am thankful for my husband.
