Eric and I recently celebrated another anniversary! On our first anniversary we started the tradition of giving each other the traditional anniversary gifts. Okay, so maybe this was more Eric's idea than mine, but we have both enjoyed it! ~smile~ For our first anniversary, Eric gave me movie tickets and a magazine subscription to follow the tradition of giving a paper gift on the first anniversary. This works out nicely since most couple can't afford elaborate gifts during their first year of marriage. For our second anniversary (cotton), Eric got me a cotton blanket embroidered with our … [Read more...]
Relationship Killers: Three More Deadly Marriage Weeds
No matter how your marriage may begin, there are a few relationship killers that will sneak into your marriage if you are not on guard. Our client was gracious to allow us to anonymously use the essay for this post. … During this jobless time, my habits and activities began to change, as I had time to consider what I was doing and how I was spending my … [Read more...]

My cousin sang it for the church when he was a little boy, which was funny since it was hard to picture him with children and a wife. ~smile~ I remember standing with others in a chapel, listening to Greenwood's song while holding a candle and remembering those who lost their lives in the twin towers. Many songs have been written about our great land, but God Bless the USA is by far my favorite. I can't imagine any other modern day patriotic song taking its … [Read more...]
