If you haven’t seen the movie Fireproof yet, you’re missing out on the best movie ever made about marital strife and reconciliation. In the movie, there is a song by Casting Crowns called Slow Fade. The song is about how people typically end up making a series of choices, not a single choice, that end up destroying their relationships and lives.
The video for the song is powerful, please take a few minutes to watch it. Additionally, the second video is of Mark Hall, lead singer of Casting Crowns and youth pastor, doing a quick devotional on the concepts behind Slow Fade. I hope these videos bless your life. Make sure the decisions you are making daily are God-honoring; if they are, your relationships will be blessed.
Dave Burton says
Fireproof is a wonderful movie. It is one of the few movies that “feeds the good dog.”
