Sometimes we come across such a great find that we can’t help but tell others about them. Some of the below are affiliate links and some are not, but we will never put up a product that we don’t absolutely love. Check them all out!
At one point in my life, I (Eric) was having a hard time getting to sleep. A thought popped into my head, “I wish there was some soft music that was scripturally-oriented that could lull me to sleep.” So, I went searching on the internet. I came across Jay and Trina Stocker’s CD titled “Hidden in My Heart, Vol. 1″. Wow.
They now have Vol.2 out and when you go to their website (click their logo above!), you can hear a sampling automatically play. Of every CD I own (and I *love* music and own hundreds), this is the CD that has spun the most in my player. In fact, in the over three years I’ve owned it, my honest guess is that I’ve only missed playing it less than 30 days as I normally play Vol. 1 at least once per night. As an added blessing found out later, I learned that Trina is a good friend of my sister-in-law! Go check this out; you’ll be glad you did.
These head massagers are the best. They’re not meant to give you a deep scalp massage, but they are meant to tingle your head in ecstacy.
Heather and I just melt when we use this. It’s pure bliss for 15 seconds.
It’s good to be prepared for an emergency. My mother-in-law bought this self-powered weather radio for me one Christmas. In a recent power outage, it came in very handy. It’s easy to find the NOAA weather announcements and the LED light is powerful. This model is actually one newer from the one I use and it can charge a cell phone (which does require manually rotating the crank, but in an emergency, it’s a great blessing to have!). If you don’t have something like this, get one and get prepared.
In our post, Juice Your Relationship, Heather talked about our road to health via juicing. Months later and we’re still going strong. We were using an Omega 1000 and at the time I bought it, it was one of the best on the market and served its purpose. With new times comes new technology and after doing a lot of searching for reviews, we decided on the Breville 800JEXL Juice Fountain Elite 1000-Watt Juice Extractor. Is it expensive? Yep, it is. Was it worth the upgrade? Yes, it was! Heather’s prep and juicing time were cut down to a fourth of what it was on our previous juicer. The juicer has great reviews on Amazon and we love it. If you’re interested in juicing, check out our post and then check out the juicer.
Also to note (which the picture doesn’t), it has a pitcher attachment, so it makes it very easy to collect the juice. Additionally, we have found that it is best to line the trash chute with a pastic bag (think grocery store plastic bags) for easy (easier) cleanup. Happy juicing!
